Cosmic Chessboard of Realities

Life as a Cosmic Chess Game

2–3 minutes

Human life can be understood as a game of multi-dimensional chess. Seen this way, events form a structure, and that structure gives a person real choices about how to play.

The Seven Layers of the Board

Consciousness is organized in seven layers, and each layer corresponds to a part of a chess game.

The Oversoul is the tournament player. It plays many games at once across countless dimensions and reality streams. A single human life is one of those games.

The Individual Soul is the game itself. It is the part of the Oversoul that enters one theme to explore, which here is a physical incarnation.

The Higher Mind is the strategist. It stands above the board and sees the whole field, so it knows where each move leads.

Template Level Reality is the chessboard. It sits at the border between non-physical and physical existence. This is where the outline of a person’s experience is drawn, like a 64-square blueprint, before it appears in the physical world.

The Collective Unconscious holds the universal rules. Gravity, space, time, sleep, and the need for food are agreed upon at this level. Because these rules run automatically, a person spends no attention producing them.

The Individual Unconscious holds the rules of the piece. It sets a person’s talents, abilities, and the way they move and connect with other players.

The Physical Mind and Personality is the piece itself. Thoughts, beliefs, and emotions form the shape and character of the piece that moves across the board. The body and personality are that piece.

Playing in Four Dimensions

Ordinary chess has two dimensions. Physical reality adds time and parallel reality streams, which makes it a four-dimensional game.

A strong chess player looks five, seven, even ten moves ahead and weighs the combinations before moving. In life, the same ability is the capacity to extend the senses into parallel realities and feel how different probabilities may unfold.

This works best when the board stays simple. Examining every parallel version of a life at once resembles scattering hundreds of extra chess pieces, checkers, and playing cards across the board until every square is full and no move is possible. The information for the next move is the information that serves the player.

When a person acts on what excites them and keeps the board uncluttered, synchronicity arranges the right moves at the right moments. Trust in that flow allows movement with ease.

Co-Creating the Game

A person is the player of their own game. The physical mind is the piece, the Higher Mind is the strategist, and the soul designed the game. By honoring the piece they came to be and following the flow of synchronicity, a person plays with clarity, impact, and joy.
